Review of Glen-Worden tour:

v    PA system a safety concern unable to hear in certain areas.

v    Library roof ice falling on sidewalk, barrels used in past not completely effective, possibly extend roof canopy.

v    Lighting concerns in Library if roof extended.

v    Playing field generally a dustbowl, topsoil removed when septic field was installed never replaced.

v    Paving of parking lot Ðcompletion of paving from last project and entrance to cafeteria.

v    Other areas mentioned similar to other elementary building

o      Dirt floor in basement not conducive to storage or practical usage.

o       Windows

o      Fire alarm system

v    Changing rooms for both girls and boys.

 

Jim Rodecker mentioned that a firm has been hired to evaluate the existing pa systems in all buildings pertaining to replacement of removed speakers and any new additions for workability.

 

Tour of Lincoln School:

¯    Library double doors not installed on last project due to abatement missed.

¯    ÒLake LincolnÓ drainage in main entranceway.

¯    Bus loop in main entranceway to help with drop-off and pick-up congestion.

¯    Cracking of exterior wall of gym.

¯    Asbestos floor tile in cafeteria and other areas of building removed.

¯    Electrical upgrades with standby power building used as evacuation site for 3 nursing homes.

¯    Issues similar to other buildings

o      Carpeting over asbestos tiles removal with abatement.

o      Carpeting also health issue Ðallergies.

o      Bathroom renovation.
