to order:
SecretaryÕs Report Ð minutes approved from the
September 29 meeting.
TreasurerÕs
Report Ð Belinda Fitzgerald approved as Council Treasurer. A copy of the
current PTA Council budget will be emailed immediately after these minutes.
OfficerÕs
Reports/Committees Ð
ReflectionsÕ judging is set for November 10.
Winners then go on to the Regional competition.
Founders Day nomination process should be started
at each school in the very near future. PLEASE NOTE on all publications that
the dinner is at the Riverstone Manor this year. Same date, just different
location.
New
Business - Bob Hanlon received an email from Lou Carol Comley at the Baptist
Retirement Center looking for adult volunteers. Info given to each school rep.

any questions.
Administration/BOE
Report Ð Maureen Long has been hired to replace Joe Cavanaugh who retired
earlier this year. Mrs. Long will start in her new position on 1/1/10. More
information can be found on the district web site.
School Reports Ð all schools report that their
Fall Festival/Ice Cream socials went well.
Glendaal
has announced their theme for the year Ð ÒGo GreenÓ. The
school
is implementing several new ideas on recycling.
Lincoln
will be having a ÒMake a Difference DayÓ at their school.
*The Middle School is hosting a guest speaker
Friday, 10/30. Michael Pritchard will also be meeting with the middle school
students during the day on Friday.
Open
floor Ð Mr. Eagan shared some information about the districts steps to fend off
the flu. All schools should have the hand sanitizers installed by this time.

*Side note Ð Mr. PritchardÕs assembly was very
well received by the students. The evening presentation had an audience of
approximately 60 parents. PTA council received a very nice ÒThank YouÓ letter
from Mrs. Keller for our monetary donation toward the presentation.
