Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009 Glen-Worden grade 4 students get a taste of Colonial life Students in Christine DeCarlo's and Marcia Smith's grade 4 classes at the Glen-Worden Elementary School immersed themselves in Colonial America during a day of activities that included a visit from the Crailo Museum in Rensselaer, playing Colonial games, eating Colonial food, researching Pilgrims on the computers in the library and learning the Minuet. Music teacher Peter Rizzo played the music for the students to dance the Minuet. Below are a few of the scenes from the day's activities: |
