Special Meeting Minutes

A Special Meeting of the Board of Education of the Scotia-Glenville Central School District was held in the Board Room at The District Office in said district on December 22, 2003.

President of the Board of Education Kurt Ahnert called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

Present: Ahnert, Bradley, Carbone, Carpenter, Conlon, Magruder, Smith, Superintendent Marcelle, Director of Curriculum and Instruction Kavanaugh

Others Present: Middle School Principal, Shari Keller

MOVED by Carbone that the Board of Education adjourn into Executive Session to discuss matters of personnel and/or negotiations.

MOTION CARRIED

The Board of Education adjourned to Executive Session at 4:01 p.m. and returned to Open Session at 5:00 p.m.

Mrs. Keller provided the Board of Education with a summary of the disciplinary referrals from the Middle School from September – December of 2002 and from September – December of 2003. After a discussion, the Board of Education directed Superintendent Marcelle to develop a plan for providing more administrative support in the area of student discipline for the Middle School. Superintendent Marcelle will report back at the January 12^th Board of Education Meeting.

MOVED by Magruder that the meeting be adjourned.
