During
the Board of Education's organizational meeting July 14, Margaret
Smith was re-elected to a fifth one-year term as
president of the Board of Education by a 4-3 vote, defeating
Ben Conlon. Gary Normington, entering his
third year on the board, was elected vice president by a 5-2
vote over Pam Carbone.
New
wellness guidelines
about what children can bring to classroom parties and
eat and drink at school will take effect in September
2007.
