An Olympic Spectacular at Lincoln Elementary

About 70 Scotia-Glenville students in the Extended School Year program – a
program held at Lincoln Elementary in the summer for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) – spent their summer studying the Olympics and cooperation between nations.

The students will be entering grades 1 to 5 this fall.

During their Olympic Spectacular on August 13, the students worked in teams representing the US, Spain, Italy, Greece, China, Japan and Australia. They demonstrated some of the Olympic events – such as weight lifting, boxing, soccer and swimming – as well as put on skits, sang songs and had fun celebrating the events.

Below are some pictures from the Olympic Spectacular.
